MIE Abrasion Tester - TNG1001

The TNG1001 MIE Abrasion Tester is designed to evaluate the abrasion resistance of textiles used in automotive applications. The instrument operates by rubbing the test sample against an abrasive cloth under controlled conditions. This process simulates the wear that occurs during normal use, helping to determine the material's longevity. The tester supports the Renault – PSA D44 1073 standard. It features two pairs of test positions, allowing for simultaneous testing. Each test position can be operated independently or in parallel. The device includes a touch panel for programming and monitoring test parameters such as cycle speed and duration. The abrasion head applies a force of 5kg during testing. The rubbing table has a width of 90 +/-1 mm. The unit is powered by 220 / 110 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a current rating of 3 A.
