Wrap Reel /B - TNG1090

The TNG1090 Wrap Reel /B is designed to produce skeins of yarn with a pre-determined length and number of turns. This enables accurate count and strength testing. The instrument operates by wrapping yarn around a collapsible swift, which can be specified in 1 Metre, 36″, or 54″ circumference. The device includes a pre-tension mechanism and a pre-determined counter to ensure consistent wrapping. The TNG1090 complies with ASTM D1907, BS 2010, and ISO 2060 standards. It supports ISO 2060 and ASTM D1907 Step 1 procedures. The wrap reel is suitable for testing yarns, fibre filaments, and other textile materials. It is commonly used in central laboratories, testing institutes, quality control departments, and research facilities. The reel speed ranges from 20 to 280 revolutions per minute, adjustable for different testing requirements. The instrument is powered by 220/110 V at 50/60 Hz.
