Product overview
The TNG1060 is designed for evaluating the flammability characteristics of single insulated wires and cables. The instrument operates by exposing a vertical specimen to a controlled flame and measuring the spread of combustion along the material. It is suitable for conductor diameters greater than 0.8 mm (cross-sectional area greater than 0.5 mm²) or less than 80 mm (cross-sectional area less than 5000 mm²). The TNG1060 supports testing in accordance with IEC 60332-1 and GB/T 18380.11-13. The burner has an inner diameter of Φ12 ± 0.5 mm and is set at a 45° inclination. Flame height is adjustable up to 150 mm. Ignition and burning times are adjustable and can be recorded automatically. The device uses 95% propane gas, with LPG as an alternative. It includes dual flow meters and pressure gauges for gas and air. The TNG1060 is intended for use in research, production, and quality control laboratories within the electric and electronic industry.
Application
Wire and cable vertical combustion tester is mainly for conductor diameter greater than 0.8mm (cross-sectional area greater than 0.5mm²) or less than 80mm (cross-sectional area less than 5000mm²) of the single wire and cable combustibility performance assessment. Wire & cable vertical flame tester is applicable to the research, production, and quality inspection departments of electric and electronic products and their component parts, such as lighting equipment, low-voltage appliances, household appliances, machine tool appliances, motors, power tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, electrical connections, and accessories.
